The Aerion S1 arrives in Australian showrooms in September, opening the brand's local range with a passenger EV aimed squarely at the commuter market.
The Aerion S1 will reach Australian showrooms in September, confirming the launch window flagged when Aerion EV signed with Cloud Mobility Group last year. First deliveries are expected through the Sydney and Melbourne dealer hubs, with Brisbane and Perth following in the same quarter.
The S1 is the brand's opening model for Australia — a passenger EV built for daily commuting rather than long touring, with a DC charge time that suits a top-up on the way home more than a highway stop. Full specifications are listed on the model's page as they are certified.
"A launch date is only worth announcing once the compliance work is finished," said Priya Raman, who leads market entry at Cloud Mobility Group. "Aerion's homologation is complete, the parts pipeline is in place, and the dealers who will sell the car have already been trained on it."
Pre-orders open through the dealer network from the start of September. Buyers can register interest now to be contacted by their nearest authorised dealer.
