Reviewed: what the Yunhe X7 gets right for Australian families

11 July 2026 · Sana Kaur

The Yunhe X7 is the family SUV in the range, and the one most often cross-shopped. Here is what it does well for Australian conditions.

The Yunhe X7 is the model most often cross-shopped against everything else in the range, and the one families come back to. It is worth setting out what it does well and where it asks for compromise.

The range figure holds up in the conditions that matter here — highway speeds with a full car — rather than only in the test cycle. The DC charge time is competitive for the segment, which is what turns a long weekend drive from a planning exercise into an ordinary trip.

Where it asks for compromise is in the interior storage, which is arranged for four adults rather than for a boot full of sports gear, and in a suspension tune that favours comfort over control on unsealed roads. Neither is a fault; both are choices worth knowing before a test drive.

The X7 carries a five-star ANCAP rating and a seven-year warranty. Book a test drive through any dealer in the network.
